Makeup is an essential part for some of us and is an everyday need to look better and it brings confidence into our personality. There are some conventional makeup tricks that we are doing since years which are incorrect and some new life saving hacks which you all will love!
1. Picking the right foundation
Ensure you’re choosing the best shade of foundation by testing products on your neck— not your forearm or wrist. That’s the basic mistake most of the girls do, a foundation matching your skin tone may hide your flaws and can give you a perfect base whereas if chosen wrong may make you look cakey and weird. Choose a correct shade that just matches perfectly with your skin tone.
2. Applying a primer before makeup
Not applying a good primer may clog your pores, and can your skin dry and flaky. A primer helps your makeup to stay longer and keeps it intact. Apply a good moisturiser too to hydrate your skin before applying makeup, so as to prepare and nourish your skin.
3. Dabbing foundation with your hands instead of rubbing it
This may clog your pores and won’t hide your flaws anyhow. A better option is to use a sponge and dab it on your face to give a smooth finish. Always apply foundation stroking downwards instead of upwards.
4. Shaping your eyebrows
Filling in your eyebrows doesn’t have to be a lengthy process. Keep it simple by using a brow powder or pencil to define a bottom line, and then smudge upwards and blend.
5. Covering under eye circles
Colour correcting makeup is one of the best ways to hide your skin’s flaws, and this hack nails it. Use red lipstick followed by concealer to mask and hide under eye circles.
6. Blush done right
Work in an upward semicircular motion while applying your blush starting from the apples of your cheeks. Keep it minimum as you can reapply it if necessary. Use bronzer and brush in the exact apple of the cheek to enhance your bone structure and emphasize cheekbones.
7. Mascara applied the right way
Get your eye lashes longer and fuller by wiggling applicator back and forth as you apply mascara to top lashes. Then turn the brush vertically to apply mascara to your bottom lashes.
8. Set your makeup by baking it
Make your face glow and ensure your look lasts all day with this trendy technique, called “baking.” By letting your makeup set and finishing with a translucent powder, your look will last longer.
