With the growing changes across the prices of daily commodities in the market, the Commonwealth of Dominica has introduced certain changes in its market items. By introducing new prices of the items in the market, the Commonwealth of Dominica, has announced on increasing the prices of the famous Kubuli Beer.
It is to be noted that, while issuing the list of the new prices of the compliant, the new list of the prices of the Kubuli Beer states, “New Compliant* Before VAT for $63.28 and New/compliant* with VAT/empty for $78.77.”
As per the details the introduced changes in the prices of the Kubuli Beer will come into effect from June 5, 2023 onwards.
The details further added that, “Regular bar promotions on Kubuli Beer will now be at 3 for $12. 3 for $10 will only be maintained for special events. The recommended retail price will now be $5.00.”
It is to be specifically mentioned that, Kubuli is a golden larger brewed in Dominica, where it is the unofficial national beer. The name of the beer is derived from the Island Caribs name for the island. Moreover, the water that has been used in making the Kubuli comes from the Loubiere Springs of the Commonwealth of Dominica.
Considerably, the Kubuli beer is the flagship product of the Dominica Brewery Limited, which as of February 24, 2010 is the subsidiary of the Cerveceria Nacional Dominicana. Whereas, as of the year 2018, the brand had held 68% market share of the local beer market across the island.
Furthermore, it is to be added that the Kubuli Beer is not just limited to the island nation of Dominica, but the Dominica Brewery exports the beer across the Caribbean markets as well, including St Kitts, Saint Lucia, Guadeloupe, Barbados, Montserrat, Martinique, Antigua & Barbuda, including Anguilla, and the British & U.S. Virgin Islands.
