Furthermore, the reports also confirmed that such ads are designed in a specific way which is only targeted to be shown on the accounts of young Sikhs between the age of 18 to 25 years.
Moreover, the running ads have been targeting specific surnames regarding the Sikh community, such as Singh, Kaur etc., to attract them towards the topics. The ads have been running for almost a year and are paid for continuous streaming, said sources from CNN-News18.
The officials from the News-18 channel stated that the ads are directly targeted towards the viewers in terms of displaying the atrocities and obscenity along with images and car accessories and selling garments.
Additionally, millions of dollars of funding are used in the ads and linking the Sikh secessionist leader Jarnail Singh Bhindrawale directly with Amritpal Singh, reported the intelligence sources. Besides all that, Amritpal Singh, Waris Punjab De founder, is now projected as the Bhindrawle walking and talking with a pagdi on his head.
According to the reports, he also started carrying himself as the militant leader assassinated in 1984 during Operation Blue Star.
The intelligence services have also concluded that the organic native Punjabi does not post comments on social media posts as their language relates. It suggests that these comments come from the Punjab province of Pakistan.
The comments in India can be only seen through the usage of VPN with location as Germany, Canada or the UK, added intelligence services.
