The Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Mahmood Khan on Sunday has released a statement, adding that the current government of the province has considered under a comprehensive plan for permanent & sustainable development of the province during the past 4 years, with the idea of putting the development of the province as well as financially sustainable at the top.
CM added that, “These measures will not only help the people of the province but it will also provide a way for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in playing an important role in the overall economic development.”
“The province is currently on the route of development because of long-term planning. It has already happened and moreover, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will come out as a role model for the establishment of a state of welfare,” said CM Khan.
In a statement issued by the CM Secretariat on Sunday, he said that the current government had introduced tourism as an industry. Due to which, the province has become a tourist place for domestic and international tourists, which will play an essential role in empowering the national economy in the coming time.
Meanwhile, CM Mahmud Khan said that the establishment of small & large industries in the province has not only paved employment opportunities, but Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has also become the centre of attention of private & international investors in the industry sector.
The Chief Minister said that despite many challenges, the current government has made not only the merger of the former FATA successful but also a step forward for developing these areas. Work is in progress under comprehensive planning.
The Chief Minister has clarified that keeping in concern the contemporary challenges, the government has also finalized plans & invested in maintaining Islamic teachings, moral values & traditions through which the national identity will be honoured and empowered.
He further added that, “It’s very vital to introduce the Holy Quran’s translation in the schools. Moreover, the provision of monthly stipends to the imams of mosques & leaders of other religions has also begun.”
