Laraib Atta making the best

Laraib Atta the daughter of Sufi legend Attaullah Khan Essakhelvi just got nominated in Visual Effects Society Awards 2019. And she is the first ever Pakistani to be on the nomination.

Laraib Atta was nominated for the category of ‘Outstanding Compositing in a Photoreal Episode’ for a TV Show “Altered Carbon” in a show. She has been working as a visual effects artist on it.

The genius girl shared the news on Instagram with excitement over her achievement.

She said in a caption of her Instagaram post

The 17th Visual Effects Society Awards was held on 5th February 2019. Laiba couldn’t win though but it’s still a huge achievement for her to be nominated in this list and Pakistan is super proud of her. The winner was “Lost in Space”. But she was nominated with some of the famous visual effects artists from around the world.

 

 

 

The Visual Effects Society (VES) is a global professional honorary society and the entertainment industry’s only organization representing the full breadth of visual effects practitioners including artists, studio executives, PR/marketing specialists, technologists, educators, supervisors, model makers, and producers.
