A case has been filed against Twenty-nine year-old Grammy winner singer, Chris Brown on Wednesday. The plaintiff states that she has been subject to repeated sexual assault at a party that took place in the famous celebrity’s home.
The Los Angeles woman has claimed that she was raped repeatedly by Chris Brown’s fellow rapper Lowell Grissom and subject to sexual assault by a woman named Doe X.
According to the victim identified as Jane Doe, the party was infested with alcohol and drugs which included cocaine, ecstasy and marijuana. She added that Chris Brown offered every female guest a ‘clear pill filled with powder’ which she clearly refused to take.
The plaintiff claims, she had her phone confiscated in an after party which she attended after a concert at 1 Oak club in West Hollywood. Jane Doe alleges that Grissom refused to return her phone and instead brought the cellphone back to Brown’s residence, forcing Doe and her then-roommate to go to Brown’s house to retrieve their phone. Upon reaching there Jane observed an atmosphere of ‘drugs’ and ‘sexual activity’.
According to the report, upon refusing Grissoms advances she was subject to rape and assault.
Gloria Allred, one of the three lawyers representing the victim, quoted “This is one of the most horrific cases involving alleged sexual assault that I have ever seen.”
She adds, “She filed this lawsuit because she wants justice for herself, but she also wants to warn other young women about the potential danger to themselves if they have their phone taken away and if they go to Chris Brown’s house.”
The rapper is notorious for his past controversies – involving a physical assault case in 2009, by his then girlfriend Rihanna.
A statement from either Chris Brown or Grissom is yet to be released.
