Consequently, they would beef up their security on Eid. Not to mention the crowds breaking into fights for the tickets! Such scenes, however, have been missing since the downfall of the Pakistani cinema started. Nevertheless, the ‘revival’ of Pakistani cinema has breathed new life into the movie industry. Many Pakistani Movies have been released in 2017. Furthermore, others are in the pipeline. Like the bygone era, Eid-ul-Fitr 2017 will see some major Pakistani productions hit the cinema houses. Project Ghazi is being flaunted as Pakistan’s ‘first superhero movie’. It is also a big budget action/sci-fi venture. The movie has Sheheryar Munawwar Siddiqui and Syra Shehroze as the lead pair. Project Ghazi has all the traits of a proper superhero movie. In fact, it includes its own masked super-villain, Qataan. Project Ghazi is a good choice for fans of superhero, sci-fi, action and thriller genres.

Moviegoers have a variety of movies that they can choose from this Eid. This is a good thing, considering that watching a movie is one of the few recreational activities that the entire family can enjoy together in Pakistan. Also, youngsters have their pocket full of eidi nowadays. So watching a movie in the cinema with friends and cousins seems like a good way to spend all that money. Well, we hope that this Eid will be a profitable one for all the Pakistani movies hitting the cinemas and an entertaining one for the movie audiences. Eid Mubarak!
