She was nominated for the third time in a row and this year finally she made an impact. “Home Fire”  is her seventh novel, it tells the story of a young lady from London who faces severe tragedies and its about radicalization.

Her seventh work was described as “remarkable” by panel. Chair of judges Sarah Sanders,haring her views about Kamila’s winning novel said, “Home Fire is about identity, conflicting loyalties, love and politics. And it sustains mastery of its themes and its form.”

The panel of judges even added, “It is a remarkable book which we passionately recommend,” Here is the shortlist of authors on the event.

We wish Kamila Shamsie a very best for coming novels and this thing has just brought great achievement for Pakistan in the world of literature. Her work even includes the renown novel “Salt and Saffron”.
