Darren Sammy winning hearts in Shalwaar Kameez

The Peshawar Zalmi Skipper Darren Sammy went to the mausoleum of Quaid-i-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah in Karachi along with the Chairman Javed Afridi on Sunday.

Sammy, the West Indies cricket star paid homage to the founder of Pakistan. Darren said, “It was an honour to pay my respects to the great man”.

The winner of the T20 world cup of West Indies was bewildered by the architecture and design of the tomb and its colour. Not only this, but he also visited the museum of Quaid’s belongings and enjoyed.

Later, Darren tweeted his heart out with a heartfelt message, “I am extremely honoured to have visited the tomb of Mohammad Ali Jinnah founder and father of this great nation. A legend whose message of faith unity and discipline can make this world a much better place. I am truly inspired.”


He also said, “Quaid was a great man and one of his famous quotes unity, faith and discipline are the three words that I live by. It was an honour to pay my respects to a great leader and visionary who paved the way for the nation of Pakistan.”
