St. Kitts and Nevis: Prime Minister Dr. Terrance Drew ensures the safety of the nation and its citizens. He assured that the security of the residents of the island nation is their fundamental priority.
As the current Chairman of the Regional Security System (RSS) of St. Kitts and Nevis Dr. Terrance Drew has decides to support the Security Forces as they persist in their effort to address the issues of crime and security occurring in the island nation.
Being the responsible Minister of National Security, Drew assures the citizens of St. Kitts and Nevis that their government will continue to provide the necessary resources to the Security Forces to strengthen their capacity to implement their strategic plan to get rid of the crimes happening on the streets.
Drew conveyed through his addressal that every life is precious and they must continue to work to preserve all lives. Prime Minister made this clear by his statement that the security forces and every law-abiding citizen and resident condemns the criminal acts of those who persist in perpetuating the crimes.
Continuing his statement, PM Drew declared that a zero-tolerance policy will be implemented to maintain and preserve the peace for the security of St. Kitts and Nevis.
Dr. Terrance Drew also mentioned that as a Chairman of RSS he has asked the group to monitor and assess the current situation and keep him informed and updated as per their observations. Otherwise, he and his federation will leave no stone unturned for the security and safety of the country.
The Prime Miniter added that travelling overseas for official business purposes they have conquered myriad successes in securing the strategic investments as it was their great vision to create St. Kitts and Nevis a sustainable Island State.
However, the National Security Minister has encouraged the Security Forces to work tirelessly and build an enabling environment.
Moreover, the government is pushing its developmental initiatives forward that are designed to benefit the people and the whole country. Along with this assuring the security for all, PM Drew seeks the partnership in this endeavour which is critical.
