The Prime Minister of the Commonwealth of Dominica, Dr Roosevelt Skerrit, on Saturday has extended grief over the horrific train accident that has been taken place in Balasore, Odisha, India on Friday. PM Dr Roosevelt Skerrit took it to his official social media handle to express the condolences to the families and the kins of those who have lost their loved ones in the three train collision.
It is to be noted that, PM Dr Roosevelt Skerrit took it to his official social media handle, adding that, “The Govt and the people of Dominica send heartfelt condolences to the People and the Govt of India on the Tragic Train Accident in #Odisha.“
At the same time, Prime Minister Dr Roosevelt Skerrit, while extending condolences, added that, “We share in your grief as you navigate through this difficult time.”
The three train accident, which has taken place in the Balasore in Odisha on Friday left nearly 300 people dead and over 1000 injured.
Considerably, it is to be mentioned that, over 3 trains have collided in this accident. The crash involved the Bengaluru-Howrah Superfast Express, the Shalimar-Chennai Central Coromandel Express as well as the goods train.
Following the train accident taken place, the Railways officials along with the Disaster Relief Forces have launched the rescue operation to rescue all those who were trapped in the three trains collision in Odisha, along with evacuating those who were trapped inside the or under the trains.
Moreover, it is to be noted that the Disaster Relief Forces along with the help of railway officials and medical personnels have shifted all those who were injured in the attack to the hospital and medical care facilities to provide them quick aid. The Disaster Rescue forces have ensured that the rescue operation is so far more or less completed.
