The Prime Minister of Pakistan, Shehbaz Sharif on Friday has arrived in Ankara Airport in Turkiye, on his two-day official visit to Turkey. The visit of PM Sharif came after the invitation of the President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, on his swearing-in ceremony after his re-election as the President of Turkiye.
Considerably, the top officials of the Turkish Foreign Ministry, and the Pakistani Ambassador to Turkey along with other top diplomatic officials were present at the Ankara Airport to welcome Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on his 2-day official visit.
It is to be noted that, Prime Minister of Pakistan, Shehbaz Sharif, took it to his official social media handle to share the information on his two-day official visit to Turkiye. In the social media post, he specifically added that, he is leaving for Turkey at the invitation of the Turkish President, Recep Tayyip Erdogan to attend his swearing-in ceremony.
In the social media visit, Prime Minister Sharif has also expressed greeting and congratulations on behalf of the government of Pakistan and the its people to President Erdogan on securing victory getting re-elected as President of Turkiye. He further added that the friendly ties between the Pakistan and Turkiye will be growing in positive direction.
Along with this, he further added that, “The upcoming seventh meeting of High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council in the capital city of Islamabad will be providing the right avenue for taking the momentum of strategic partnership forward. We have yet to unlock the potential of our multifaceted ties and efforts are being made in that direction.”
During the 2 days official visit, the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Shehbaz Sharif will be holding the meeting with the investors of Turkey along with the business community there.
Notably, it is also anticipated that the visit of Prime Minister Sharif will be playing a vital role in bolstering the relations between Pakistan and Turkiye.
