The moments before the PSL final in the Karachi are just indescribable, the PSl final brought back the sense of festivity in the city.

Thousands of people arrived at National Stadium Karachi on a hot Sunday afternoon to witness the great revival of cricket in the City of lights. Almost 32,000 witnessed the showdown between Peshawar Zalmi and Islamabad United as they fought for the Pakistan Super League 2018 title.

More than 8 international players from five different countries arrived in Karachi to participate in the historic Pakistan Super League final, which gave the people of the city their first cricketing festivity after almost 10 years. of drought.

The closing ceremony of the tournament featured the musical talents of Ali Zafar, Strings Aima Baig and former Jal band member Farhan Saeed. The ceremony began with the powerful speech of the Najam Sethi, in which he mentioned all the efforts of the city government and law enforcement agencies.

The chief minister of Sindh inspected the security measures by himself.

The game started at 8, with skipper Dareen Sammy winning the toss and opt to bat first. Zalmi inform star Kamran Akmal disappointed fans, the crowd was expecting some magical strokes from him but this time his bat failed. Zalmi putting up the total of 149 on board went for to defend their title.

But you cannot forget the Islamabad United man in extraordinary form, the great Ronchi. He started his innings with ever warming aggressive style, which lifted the whole crowd. It was obvious that there is parallel competition between Akmal and Ronchi. Islamabad united with their best performance throughout the tournament, finally managed to land their hands on PSL title once again. They have now become the first ever PSL team to won 2 PSL titles and plus first winner team of the PSL.

This finale gave the sense of festivity, peace and enjoyment among cricket hungry citizens of Karachi. However, words might not be enough to explain this moments of PSL and sheer happiness of people of Karachi.
