PTCL & NDCTech Joined Hand for the Banking Clouding Platform
The Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL,) with an aim to progress the banking function, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with NDCTECH – the partner of world’s number one banking software, to create banking cloud platform for Pakistan by offering value-added services for Temenos Software over PTCL cloud.
The agreement was signed between, PTCL Chief Business Service Officer, Adil Rashid and CEO of NDCTECH Ammara Maqsood in Karachi. Many associates from PTCL and NDCTECH was present at the occasion including;

As per the agreement, NDCTECH and PTCL will host the Temenos Software jointly, provide it to all the client who is willing to get the Test & Development value-added services on PTCL Cloud. Both the companies also embark on a joint supporting effort for the development of Pakistan’s banking cloud setup for the Production site and Disaster Recovery (DR) site in the prospect.
This step of PTCL and NDCTECH will definitely result in cost reduction for the fin-techs. It will also serve as the secure cloud-based hosting solution to Pakistan Financial Sectors that was limited to keep transactional data on-premises only.
From the occasion Adil Rashid, Chief Business Services Officer, PTCL, said,
Owing to the recent data leakages in the financial sector, the need for an in-country cloud-based hosting solution for the Financial sector has increased many folds.
