Salman Khan gets 5 years in jail and 10,000 Indian Rupees fine.
A major misfortune has struck Bollywood star Salman Khan, a Jodhpur trial court today accused Khan in Blackbuck poaching case. Other big names which were accused including Saif ali khan, Neelum, Tabu and Sonali Bendre have been acquitted.
Jodhpur District Presiding Officer Devkumar Khatri pronounced Salman guilty of killing two Blackbucks, which are an endangered species, on October 1, 1998 during a hunting expedition near Jodhpur, Rajasthan. A fine of 10,000 indian rupees have also been charged on him. There are two other accused in the case — travel agent Dushyant Singh and Dinesh Gawre, Khan’s assistant at that time. Gawre is still missing.

They all were accused of hunting the endangered specie blackbuck, in a village near Jodhpur city. The actors were shooting “‘Hum Saath Saath Hain” at that time. Earlier Khan pleaded innocence in the case, claiming before the judge that the blackbuck died of “natural circumstances” and he was being dragged in to the case.
Not even Salman, Saif ali khan was also seen frustrated while facing media. A video has been going viral since the decision came out, in which Nawab is yelling at his driver by saying ‘Sheehsa upar karo aur reverse kar lo varna padegi ek”.
