He is a young and energetic player. He captained his first match vs England. He won the only T20 international against England by nine wickets. After that Pakistan team defeated the current T20 champions West Indies in a three match series and whitewashed the West Indies. This was the first whitewash by the Pakistan team in a three match series in T20 internationals. He is only the second captain to win 6 consecutive T20 matches.
His main weapons are the youngsters, who are performing consistently. His team includes the likes of Hasan ali, Shadab Khan and Babar Azam.
