The two megastars of Bollywood Shahrukh Khan and Salman Khan are in talks to reunite in Sanjay Leela Bhansali latest project.
In recent times both stars are loving to do a cameo appearance in each other projects, Last year SRK did a cameo role of Goga Pasha in Salman Khan’s Tubelight and Salman also appeared in the special Eid teaser of Shahrukh upcoming movie Zero. In previous both the stars has collaborated in multiple projects, however, it has been quite some time since both stars appear together on silver screen in lead roles.
According to sources reveal by Mid-day;
“Salman and Shah Rukh will be reuniting on screen for a two-hero film that will be directed by Bhansali. A family drama about friend-turned-foes, the film will be along the lines of the Dilip Kumar-Raj Kumar starrer Saudagar (1991) and will see them share equal footage.”
The source adds,
“The superstars have always been keen on doing a movie together and Bhansali’s film seemed to be the perfect opportunity. They have agreed to it in principle, but Bhansali might take as long as nine months to complete the final draft.”
However, the news has neither been confirmed by the stars nor by the director Bhansali. Fans are super excited by and can’t wait to see both stars to come up together on the big screen.
Salman and Shahrukh had previously worked together in three projects including; Karan Arjun (1995), Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (1998) and Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam (2002). Other than that Shahrukh Khan had also done a special appearance in Salman’s Har Dil Jo Pyar Karega (2000).
While the confirmation isn’t public, the source predicts that “If everything goes according to plan, the project may roll mid-next year.”
Since both stars are in good friendly term there are possibilities for collaboration especially when Sanjay Leela Bhansali is back on camera.
