Pakistan beat West Indies on Tuesday at National Stadium in the last T20 matches series to keep up their best position in the T20 ranking. Pakistan whitewashed the West Indies group as they won the third and last match by eight wickets. The victory granted four points to Pakistan on top on the Australian team, which sits four points behind at the second position.
The 23-year-old Babar Azam who performed in all three matches while getting the Man of the Series motorbike said “I take guidance from Shoaib Malik as he is the most senior player in the team and he knows how to handle pressure and take team to a decent total.”
The visiting skipper Jason Mohammed said that he was here with a youthful group including himself and led the team for first time which was a good experience. Discussing his visit to Pakistan he said, “All the team enjoyed the environment of Pakistan and the hospitality and the crowd too was so wonderful, we all wish to come back soon and play here again.”
