Travis Kalanick founder and Uber CEO, one of the Greatest IT company of this generation has resigned. The resignation came after the pressure of number of venture investors and it sent shock waves all over silicon valley. Uber modernized the world’s transportation system and changed the standard of cab service.
The news is not only shocking for the external parties but it has even jolted Uber’s management itself. Although the decision is bold and can lead to certain circumstances. Travis is known for his passion and bellicose style, which led Uber to be one of the leading transportation venture.
But, that successful journey has struck by scandals and number of controversies. The things were already under fuss since start of this month when Uber fired it’s 20 employees on the allegations of harassment and bullying. The culture of sexism and exploiting has been the main issue at the company. On other side high profile lawsuit has been filed by Alphabet Inc. the parent company of GOOGLE and Waymo their car service venture. The investigation is under way and that is the actual reason behind resignation so the non influential investigation can be proceed.

At the moment company is running without CEO, COO and CFO as the resignation came from these members as well. It is hard to analyze who will be the next CEO of Uber. Although the various newspapers are linking COO of Facebook, Sheryl Sandberg as the new Uber CEO. However company is looking for different competent people from well known Tech companies to fill the vacuum in the company.
