Lower Dir Police, under the supervision of the Regional Police Officer Malakand Region Sajjad Khan, on Thursday has conducted a search and strike operation in various hilly areas of the field.
During the search and strike operations conducted by the police force, a number of grenades as well as mortar shells were also recovered from the Ashrogai forest.
DPO LowerDir Ikramullah Khan, SP Investigation Mushtaq Khan, DSP Amjad Khan SP Elite along with other officers as well as jawans have participated in the search as well as strike operations.
Later RPO Malakand Sajjad Khan visited SDPO Office Circle Maidan and Police Station Lal Qila.
On reaching Lal Qila, the police team of Lower Dir district saluted. DSP Amjad Khan dressed the visiting guests in traditional hats and chadors.
RPO Malakand checked the various departments and records of Lal Qila Police Station and issued instructions to treat the visitors with courtesy along with the correctness and completeness of the records.
RPO Malakand also met the jawans of Sajjad Khan Al Barq, and inspected the modern weapons and other equipment used by them.
RPO Malakand appreciated the ongoing efforts under the leadership of DPO Ikramullah Khan to establish peace in Lower Dir, especially Maidan and said that peace is established in the entire Malakand division including Lower Dir.
Moreover, RPO Malakand said that, “Terrorist elements were never allowed to disturb the peace of Malakand Division, nor will they succeed in their evil ambitions.”
