St Kitts and Nevis: Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew visited the newly constructed climate-smart model home in Conaree. He was conjoined by the Federal Cabinet of St Kitts and Nevis who were among the first to tour the site on Monday, March 11, 2024.
The tour taken by the Federal Cabinet of the model home highlights the government’s dedication to foster sustainable development and provide affordable housing solutions which cater to the modern needs of its citizens.
Reportedly, the home was developed by the East Coast Housing Development Ltd and facilitated by the National Housing Corporation (NHC) and is all set for its official unveiling on Thursday, March 14, 2024 in Conaree at 9:00 a.m.
The official opening of the climate-smart home will be observed soon and will mark a significant milestone in the journey of St Kitts and Nevis towards environmental sustainability. It has also improved living standards for its residents.
Prime Minister Dr Terranace Drew shared the pictures of him touring the housing development site along with the other federal cabinets. He has also shared the inside photos of the houses that involved the kitchen, bedroom, lawn area, outside view, etc.
Following the shared post, many people have praised the initiative taken by the government for its citizens. The federation is being appreciated by the people for the steps they have taken.
