“As we reflect on the meaning of Good Friday in our lives, there is no better scripture to help us in our meditation”, was the message shared by the Deputy Prime Minister of Saint Lucia as well as the Member of Parliament for the Castries South, Dr Ernest Hilaire.
It is to be mentioned that the Deputy Prime Minister of Saint Lucia, Dr Ernest Hilaire, has took it to his official social media handle to share the message among the general audience, along with the wishes on the occasion of “Good Friday.”
While taking it to his official social media handle, Deputy PM Dr Hilaire said that, “As we reflect on meaning of Good Friday in our life, there is no better scripture to help us in our meditation.”
In the wishes, he added that, “For God so loved world, that he has given his only Son, that who ever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into world to condemn world, but in order that world might be saved through him” John 3:16-17.”
Noting to the wishes extended by the Deputy PM Dr Hilaire, it is to be mentioned that he continues to extend the wishes on occasions and festivals every time in an attempt to greet everyone. Along with these wishes and messages, Ernest Hilaire also joins the people of the local communities mostly during the occasions and the festive seasons to join them in spreading the message of god within the community people.
Moreover, the message for the Good Friday shared by Dr Ernest Hilaire has a very deep meaning within itself. The Fundamental truth that these verses announce to us is the truth of God’s love. The love of God has led one to decide not to condemn the world. Instead, God’s love led one to give a gift – a free gift – the gift of ‘being saved’ through Jesus Christ. God offers this gift to each person.
