The Deputy Prime Minister of Saint Lucia and the Member of parliament for the Castries South, Dr Ernest Hilaire on Sunday has extended congratulation to the young women contestants in the 2023 National Carnival Queen Pageant.
Deputy Prime Minister of Saint Lucia, Dr Ernest Hilaire took it to his official social media handle to share the photos of the contestants of the 2023 National Carnival Queen Pageant. Noting to the social media post, Dr Hilaire extending congratulations said that, “Congratulations to all the young women who were selected as contestants in the 2023 National Carnival Queen Pageant. This year promises to be an exciting showcase!.”
It is to be noted that, on the eve of April 14, the Carnival Planning and Management Committee (CPMC), in collaboration with the National Carnival Queen Committee, have made the announcement of the names oof the contestants that were chosen for the 69th Annual National Carnival Queen Pageant.
The National Carnival Queen Pageant is one of the most anticipated events on the Saint Lucia Carnival Calendar, with eight intelligent, beautiful, and talented young women competing for the title of National Carnival Queen.
It is to be specifically mentioned that the finalists have been assigned sponsors at the annual Sashing Ceremony to take place at a later date and then go on to compete in the 2023 National Carnival Queen Pageant set to take place on Saturday, July 1, 2023.
