The Minister of Housing, Land and Urban Development of the Commonwealth of Dominica, Melissa Poponne Skerrit, on Tuesday has shared another update on the recently held event on the occasion of Mother’s Day for the mothers in the constituency.
It is to be mentioned that the Minister of Housing has hosted the above mentioned event a day after the Mothers Day. Notably, the mothers across the constituency have taken part in the event hosted by Minister Melissa Skerrit.
During the event, the Minister of Urban Development, Melissa Skerrit has also extended thanks to the women as well as appreciated their role that they are playing in uplifting the society. She also appreciated their efforts in raising the society by making significant contribution in being responsible mother to their kids.
Considerably, Minister of Urban Development, Melissa Skerrit has also shared the glimpses of the event on her official social media handle. Along with the photos of the event, she also shared a note sharing appreciation remarks for the mothers of the constituency.
At the same time, Minister Melissa Skerrit added that, “It was an honor on hosting the small Mother’s Day event for some of the mothers in my constituency.”
In the social media post, she also expressed appreciation to the women for playing significant role in uplifting the society, adding that, “All of you deserve so much love as well as appreciation for everything that you do in raising the future of our nation.”
It is to be specifically mentioned that the Minister of Urban Development, Melissa Poponne Skerrit has also extended thanks and gratitude to the women of the constituency for taking part in the event as well as in raising the society along with the future of the nation. Noting to which, Minister Skerrit said that, “Thank you for coming out to spend some time with me on this special day!”
