St Kitts and Nevis: The Citizenship by Investment Programme has gone through various improvements under the guidance of Citizenship by Investment Unit Head Michael Martin.
The government of the Federation has announced the changes with assurance that trustworthy investors will obtain alternative Citizenship.

Moreover, the programme has become an evident choice among high-net-worth individuals and potential investors, many have shown their interests towards the alternative Citizenship of St Kitts and Nevis.
Considering the improvements, the federation of St Kitts and Nevis and Citizenship by Investment Unit has recently declared major changes. The changes involved introducing the new investment options known as Sustainable Island State Contribution (SISC).
The introduced new options will replace the Sustainable Growth Fund (SGF) which was the Fund Option. In new SISC option, the applicant can attain alternative Citizenship of St Kitts and Nevis by investing US $250,000.
With the concern of safety of the CBI programme, St Kitts and Nevis has tightened the security. After, which every applicant has to go through a mandatory interview while applying for the alternative Citizenship.
Reportedly, the interviews are going to be held virtually or in person. The new upgradations have enhanced the country’s security and safety. They have also enhanced the due diligence procedure that makes the process more robust and stricter.
To apply for the Citizenship by Investment for St Kitts and Nevis the applicants need to perform some criteria that are essential.
The applicants need to obtain a pre-approval from the authorised agent and prepare all the required documents which are necessary before submitting the application.
After submitting the application, they need to wait for the Citizenship by Investment Unit to process the application and conduct all due diligence checks.
Once the approval-in-principle letter has been received, the applicant can select the preferred investment option from the four CBI options that are available.
The Certificate of Registration will be issued and is available for the collection in St Kitts and Nevis or at specified Consulates or Embassies that are approved by the CIU Board of Governors.
