The Prime Minister of Pakistan, Mian Shehbaz Sharif on Monday held a telephone call with the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. During the telephone call, PM Sharif has extended congratulations to the Turkish leader on his re-election as the President of Turkey.
During the telephone conversation with President Erdogan, PM Sharif has also expressed him the best wishes for all the upcoming challenges ahead of him.
He further noted that the re-election of Recep Tayyip Erdogan is proper acknowledgement of the promise and the exemplary service as the President to the Turkish people.
It is to be noted that PM Sharif told President Erdogan that, “Turkiye has made significant progress in the last 20 years under your leadership and policies. I am very much confident that your wise and strong vision, Turkiye will be keeping on its path of the development as well as the prosperity at the similar pace.”
He added that, “he is sure that the Republic of Turkey will play more effective role for installing peace and stability across the region as well as the Islamic world.”
Prime Minister Sharif had also made an assurance on working with Turkey in bolstering the bilateral relations between the two countries in the forthcoming days.
At the same time, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also expressed his desire to hold the 7th session of the high-level Strategic Cooperative Council of the two countries soon.
Noting to which, he has also invited President Erdogan to Pakistan for participating in the meeting, mentioning that, “Your arrival will definitely lead towards further promotion of strategic partnership in the multilateral fields of the two brotherly countries.”
Noting to which, Turkish President Erdogan has also thanked the government of Pakistan for the warm wishes and support that the government of Pakistan has always shown towards Turkiye.
