The Giraudel-Eggleston Flower Show and Market Fair has been kicked off on Saturday at the national capital of Roseau. The theme for this year will be “50 years and Still Blooming.” It is to be specifically mentioned that Prime Minister of the Commonwealth of Dominica, Dr Roosevelt Skerrit, himself visited the Giraudel/Eggleston Flower Show and Market Fair and has also shared the glimpses of his visit.
Prime Minister Dr Roosevelt Skerrit took it to his official social media handle to share the glimpses of his visit at the Giraudel/Eggleston Flower Show & Market Fair. Referring to which, PM Skerrit added that, “The Giraudel/Eggleston Flower Show and Market Fair opened on Saturday under the theme, “50 Years and Still Blooming.”

Considerably, Prime Minister Dr Roosevelt Skerrit has also asked citizens across the island nation to come and to visit the flower show to experience the beautiful displays of the flower show. Noting to which, PM Skerrit added that, “Visit the Flower Show site to view the beautiful displays and purchase your flowers and plants.”
In the social media post, PM Skerrit added that, “The Flower Show and Market Fair runs until Tuesday, May 30th, 10 a.m to 8 p.m. daily.”

It is to be specifically mentioned that the Giraudel-Eggleston Flower Growers Group in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism has made an announcement about the 50th Anniversary of the Giradudel-Eggleston Flower Show and Market Fair.
Notably, the Flower Show and Market Fair has been an exquisite floricultural tradition of the twin communities of Giraudel and Eggleston since 1973 and is renowned for its profusion of exotic floral displays, gardening and landscaping and retail exhibition of their harvest.
Moreover, the vibrant and colorful festival made a comeback during the past year after Hurricane Maria and is intended to attract flowers and plants enthusiasts this year from across the region and also going to generate income for the stakeholders and community.

The show will going to feature florists, flower designers, exotic plant growers, gardeners and landscapers from the twin communities; with extra highlights such as floral exhibition and sale entertainment, and local cuisine.
