The Prime Minister of the Commonwealth of Dominica, Dr Roosevelt Skerrit, has shared the update about the Ti Vilaj Kweyol 2023, which will be taking place from October 23 to October 26, 2023 at Botanic Gardens. It is to be noted that, Prime Minister, Dr Roosevelt Skerrit took it to his official social media handle to share the details about the above mentioned.
Sharing the details through his official social media handle, PM Skerrit, added that, “Ti Vilaj Kwéyòl – Tout Biten Domnik is ON! It’s not just an event; It’s a celebration of Everything Dominica! FOUR Unforgettable Days of Culture, Cuisine, Entertainment, Small Business Expos, and more await you! Daily Flyer will be released this week! #StayTuned”
It is to be added that, the venues for the Ti Vilaj Kweyol 2023 will be the Botanic Gardens and it will take place from October 23 to October 26, 2023 from 12 PM to 7 PM daily.
Notably, around 60 micro and small business will be provided with the chance to show their skills, talents as well as the products or service during the event. The information about the above mentioned has been shared by the Permanent Secretary and the Chairperson of the Technical Committee in the Ministry of Labour, Public Service Reform, Social Partnership, Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development, Gloria Joseph.
While noting the above mentioned, Gloria Joseph said that, “This year, 60 micro and small businesses will be provided with booths to showcase and sell their products inclusive of agro-processors, food vendors, arts and crafts, and florist. In addition, the following will be aspects of Ti Vilaj Kweyol- cultural performances both on stage and on the ground, local bands and DJs, Creole fashion, agriculture food display, food courts with bars and local foods, along with the children’s playground.”
Moreover, he stated that the event will culminate with one local major artist everyday.
