Peshawar: Thana Town police on Saturday has nabbed two suspects during a successful operation on a tip-off to gather a large consignment of drugs. Police authorities have formed a special police team, which launched a search and strike operation to arrest the key accused in the drug smuggling case. During the interrogation, the accused have revealed that both the accused are from Peshawar.
During the operation, the police team have recovered 25 kg of hashish, 6 kg of opium, 7 kg of heroine, and 3 kg of ice from the motor car.
As per the details, police teams had received the details that a huge amount of drugs would be smuggled from the Khyber district to other cities of the nation through Peshawar by means of a motor car. Along with Kanal Road, a suspicious motor car
During the operation, two suspects, Amir, son of Ahmed Gul and Maling Gul, son of Juma Gul, were arrested, who confessed their crimes during the initial investigation and also gave the names of other suspects involved in the drug network. For which a special team was formed under the supervision of DSP Town, Luqman Khan. The two arrested accused are residents of the suburbs of Peshawar, who belongs to an organized drug trafficking gang. Moreover, police officials have registered a case against the accused and further investigation has been launched against them.
