The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police on Friday has shared the details about the meeting taking place in DRC Hall Swabi to review the monthly performance of DRC. The meeting took place under the leadership of the District Police Officer Swabi Captain (Rtd) Najam Al Husnain. All the other officials and members of the DRC were also present during the meeting.
During the meeting, DRC officials as well as members have presented the performance report for the November month and held a discussion on it. As per report, DRC received a total of 140 different types of requests last month, out of which 128 were resolved amicably.
Meanwhile, DPO Swabi has further appreciated the performance of DRC and hopes to continue the same efforts in the future. On this occasion, DPO Swabi said that the Jirga system is essential in the Pakhtun culture and the conflict is resolved. It has great utility in solutions.
At the same time, he also highlighted the basic problems of Swabi that most of the fights and killings in Swabi are based on land, domestic violence and money, which Swabi Police and DRC will work together to overcome.
Furthermore, DPO Swabi also indicated the inclusion of experts from various fields, like retired judges, lawyers and police officers etc., in DRC under DRC rules for the public interest.
The participants also expressed their determination to continue working side by side with the Swabi Police to solve public problems.
