Regional Police Officer Muhammad Salim Marwat have attended the meeting of DRC members, a comprehensive briefing was given regarding the performance of DRC this year.
RPO Dera was informed that this year DRC Dera had received a total of 527 applications from Silen. Four hundred fifty-three cases of public disputes received by DRC have been resolved through mutual understanding during short hearings, legal action has been taken on 31 petitions.
While 43 petitions are under hearing for which various panels have been formed for resolution. During the meeting, RPO Dera addressed the DRC members and said that, “they are fulfilling the duty of connecting the hearts of the people. In the light of Islamic teachings, great tidings have been promised in the hereafter for the righteous servants who make peace between people. Always play your full role in providing justice to the poor and oppressed people without discrimination and fulfil your responsibilities fearlessly.”
He further added that, “Free and speedy justice is available to people in DRC, which increases people’s confidence in DRC. Our effort will be that d. R. C should be expanded further so that this process of brotherhood among people can be improved and people’s problems can be solved at their doorsteps.”
In the end, the DRC members explained the internal problems they were facing daily, on which the RPO Dera immediately issued orders to solve by implementing them on the spot.
