An SHO and a local official of the Pakistan Peoples Party were allegedly caught red handed raping a teenage boy at the guesthouse of the latter in the town of Sehwan on Sunday, according to reports.
Inspector Pir Allah Bachayo, who was appointed as SHO of Jhangara police station, was observed carrying his 19-year-old son to the autaq of PPP politician Abbas Talpur, and the victim’s father, Hanif Birohi, forced open the guesthouse door after learning of the incident.
In the footage, his son is shown laying unconscious on the floor, while the perpetrators — the SHO, a PPP leader, and an unnamed man — slip out of the room and threaten the shocked father. He then uploads the footage to YouTube.
Birohi said in a FIR he later filed against the inspector, the PPP leader, and an unidentified third party that his son was crossing a road in Shahbaz Colony, where they lived, when the SHO noticed him and detained him for questioning. He requested that he join him to the Talpur’s autaq, where he and his associates subjected his son to rape after drugging him, according to him, and he agreed.
After being driven inside the autaq, he claimed that he discovered his son unconscious on the floor, as well as three other men fleeing while throwing insults at him. Pir Allah Bachayo, Abbas Talpur, and an unknown man were also seen fleeing.
He then took him to the Syed Abdullah Shah Institute of Medical Sciences, where he received treatment, according to the doctor.
Despite the fact that the victim’s health was not stable, Dr Moeenuddin Siddqui, the institute’s director, stated that they were attempting to determine what had caused the kid to become unconscious.
Zulfiqar Odhano, the Sehwan SHO, told this reporter that one of the suspects, Abbas Talpur, had been apprehended, and that police were conducting raids to apprehend the SHO as well as the other suspect named in the police report. He went on to say that the victim’s relatives were refusing to allow authorities to record his statement.
