In order to bring a significant boost to Dominica’s routes, Silver Airways has made the announcement the addition of two more flights to its already running weekly schedule. Silver Airways will operate six flights per week from Puerto Rico to Dominica from Monday to Saturday.
It is to be noted that, the service will begin from October 23, 2023, until August 15, 2024. The expansion comes just in time for the World Creole Music Festival.
Moreover, it has opened up doors for the passengers to book code-share flights from the US Mainland to Puerto Rico and then onwards to Dominica with their preferred airlines, including American Airlines, United Airlines, JetBlue, and Delta.
Notably, this increment in the flight frequency and capacity is likely to provide some extra convenience for the travellers that are planning to use this service. It is to be specifically mentioned that, the information about the above mentioned has been shared by the Discover Dominica Authority (DDA).
The Discover Dominica Authority (DDA), noting to the above mentioned, also said that, “We are continuing our collaborative efforts with the local stakeholders to boost the stayover visitation to the island state.”
At the same time, the Discover Dominica Authority (DDA) also advises that the flight availability is subject to the change and the regular flight schedule of four times weekly will resume after August 15, 2024.
