St Kitts & Nevis: PM Drew to table 3 amendment bills in National Assembly on March 7

Basseterre, St Kitts: The Order Paper has been circulated for the sitting of the National Assembly to take place at the National Assembly Chambers, Government Headquarters, Basseterre, on Tuesday, March 7, 2023, at 10:00 AM, for which notice has been given.

It is to be noted that the Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, as well as the Minister responsible for Finance, National Security, Citizenship and Immigration, Health & Social Security, Dr Terrance Drew, to seek to leave for introducing as well as have read a first time Banking (Amendment) Bill, 2023; Nurses and Midwives (registration) (Amendment) Bill, 2023, Eastern Caribbean Central Bank (ECCB) (Amendment) Bill, 2023.

In addition, it is to be mentioned that, the Prime Minister of St Kitts & Nevis, Dr Terrance Drew, will move the second reading of the Nurses & Midwives (Registration) (Amendment) Bill, 2023.

The government of St Kitts & Nevis has further informed that the entire National Assembly will be broadcast live on ZIZ Radio (96 FM) as well as participating radio stations. It has further mentioned that it could be viewed live directly on TV Channel 5 in St Kitts and Channel 98 in the region across Nevis. Moreover, it has added that it will be streamed live at www.zizonline.com.

At the same time, it has also shared the copies of the Bills.
