American rappers A$AP Rocky has opened up about his relationship with singer Rihanna for the first time. In an interview with GQ magazine, the rapper has confirmed that he is undoubtedly in a relationship with the ‘Umbrella’ singer and even called her the love of his life.
The 32-year-old rapper was born Rakim Athelaston Mayers — welled that Rihanna is “the one” for him. Rumors of the pair datings started years before they went public in Nov 2020, even though the two kept mom about their relationship.
And it appears the happy couple is open to having kids. “I think I’d be an incredible, exceptionally, overall amazing father. I would’ve got a very fly child. Very,” replied A$AP Rocky. He now has a new album coming out soon and announced that Rihanna had been a creative partner on the record.
The L$D performer announced he felt a sense of belonging when he went with the Love on the Brain singer to visit her family in Barbados around Christmas.
Rocky was born in New York, but his late father is from the island nation where Rihanna grew up.
“It was like a return thing. It was crazy. I imagined what it would be like always for my dad before he came to America. And I got to visit those places, and believe it or not, there was something sentimental about it. It was foreign but familiar,” he recollected.
While the couple spent their quarantine making a quintessential road trip across the country on a bus, Rocky is thinking ahead to his future now. Rocky added, “I think I’d be an incredible, remarkably, overall amazing dad. I would have a very fly child. Very.”
The Praise The Lord – rapper was previously linked to Iggy Azalea and Chanel Iman, while Rihanna dated Chris Brown, Drake, and Hassan Jameel.
