The Sports Division of the Commonwealth of Dominica on Thursday has shared an update on the football competition, which concluded on Thursday. Sports Division of Dominica took it to their social media handle to share the update.
The Sports Division of Dominica, added that, “The Zonal stages of the National Bank of Dominica Limited Sports Division Primary Schools boys Division One football competition have been concluded on Thursday 2nd February 2023 with matches in Three Zones.”
The update further mentioned that, “At Castle Bruce five Schools participated in the South-East Zone
– the Castle Bruce Primary School have ranked top in the zone with 10 points, Sineku Primary stood second with 9 points; Jones Beaupiere Primary stood 3rd on 7 points, as well as San Sauveur Primary scored 4th with 3 points along with Grand Fond Primary standing at 5th on 0 points.
– In the East Zone played in Londonderry the WS Steven’s Primary School have also topped the standings amongst the four(4) schools with 5 points 1 win along with 2 draws. Calibishie Primary stood second because of a better goal difference over third place Woodford Hill Primary School as both Schools have ended with 4 points on each. The Atkinson Primary school stood at 4th place.
– Moreover, in the South/ Southwest Zone the St. Luke’s Primary School have dominated with 4 victories from their 4 matches played with 12 points. Carlique Prevost have scored 8 goals & Zael Joseph twelve (12) goals for St. Lukes Primary in their four matches played. Bellevue Primary school stood 2nd because of a better goal difference over third place Grandbay Primary School, both team have copped 7 points each. Soufriere Primary stood at 4th place with 3 points & the Newtown Primary School 5 on 0 points.
