The President of Pakistan Muslim League (N) Punjab and Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah Khan on Tuesday paid a visit at the residence of the late leader of Pakistan Muslim League (N) and Parliamentarian Begum Najma Hameed.
Interior Minister held a meeting with the late Begum Najma Hameed’s sons, sister Tahira Aurangzeb, niece Maryam Aurangzeb and other family members.
Meanwhile, Home Minister said that, “Najma Apa was a role model for women as well as male politicians. The democratic struggle of Begum Najma Hameed along with Begum Kulsoom is a bright chapter of history which can never be forgotten.”
Alongside, the visit by the Interior Minister Sanaullah Khan came following the visit of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also paid a visit at Begum Najma Hameed’s residence, the key Parliamentarian of the Pakistan Muslim League (N) in Rawalpindi.
During the visit, PM Sharif expressed condolences to the family members of late Parliamentarian Najma Hameed.
He said that, “Her sacrifices for the party & leadership are unforgettable. Najma never cared about the cold or heat of the seasons, always holding the flag of loyalty as well as ideals. After the demise of sister Kulsoom, another sister has gone to heaven.”
