The Chief of the Army Staff General of Pakistan, Qamar Javed Bajwa, held a farewell meeting with the Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif at the Prime Minister’s House. PM Shehbaz Sharif has also offered Zahrana in honour of General Qamar Javed Bajwa.
The Prime Minister Sharif has further appreciated General Qamar Javed Bajwa’s services to the Pakistani Army, national defence and national interests.
Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif said in a talks with the Army Chief that he was proud to lead the best Army in the entire world. He said that, “General Qamar Javed Bajwa, in various crises, including removing Pakistan’s name from FATF’s grey list, COVID-19 pandemic and flood.”
PM Sharif added that, “Pakistani Army has performed exemplary services under his leadership. Under his leadership, Army played great courage as well as bravery to crush the demon of terrorism.”
He further added that, “General Bajwa led Pakistan Army at a difficult stage in history and Pakistan’s defence was unmatched. Played a key role in conquest.”
At the same time, Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa thanked Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif for his full cooperation in addressing national affairs.
