St Kitts and Nevis: Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew invited 25 Most Remarkable Teens of the 2023 cohort in the Federation to a dinner night along with his wife Diani Jimesha Prince Drew.
Sharing the glimpses from the dinner night PM Drew has written that last evening he and his wife, Diani Jimesha Prince Drew were happy to host a special dinner to recognise the 25 Most Remarkable Teens (of the 2023 cohort) in the Federation.
Prime Minister added that the brilliant and vibrant young men and women were engaged in frank and fruitful discussions with him on various issues which touched and concerns the youth of St Kitts and Nevis.
He expressed that these remarkable teens are building the federation of tomorrow and it is always enlightening to listen their perspectives and ideas.
At the gathering, Dr Drew also urged to encourage the youngsters of the St Kitts and Nevis to establish positive and uplifting lives.
Reportedly, the National Assembly of St Kitts and Nevis has recognised 25 Most Remarkable Teens last year in 2023, on November 27 at the St Kitts Marriott Resort Royal Ballroom.
The twenty-five youngsters, have brought laurels and made their country proud. Out of twenty-five recognised teens eighteen were females which was really very commendable.
The efficient and talented youngsters of the St Kitts and Nevis were honoured by the Ministry of Youth Empowerment. The award ceremony highlighted the major achievements and contributions of the young achievers and teens across the federation.
Notably, the prestigious remarkable teen event is organised annually during the National Youth Month of the St Kitts and Nevis.
The award was given for the different categories to the youngsters that included, Entrepreneurship and Most Promising, Technology and Leadership, Courage to Overcome, Visual Arts and Entrepreneurship.
Some other categories that rewarded were Athletics and Sports, Academics and Leadership, School Pride, Spiritual Commitment, Youth Activism, Academics and Volunteerism and Performing Arts.
