The Prime Minister of the island nation of Saint Lucia, Dr Phillip J Pierre, on Sunday has extended the wishes for the Palm Sunday. The Saint Lucian Prime Minister took it to his official social media handle to share the wishes among the general public along with the photos.
PM Phillip J Pierre, while extending the wishes for the Palm Sunday on his official social media handle, mentioned that, “As we celebrate Palm Sunday, we are reminded of Jesus’ triumphant entry into Jerusalem. The crowds welcomed Him with open arms, waving palm branches and shouting “Hosanna!” It was a moment of great joy and celebration.”
He further emphasized on the teachings of Christian god Jesus Christ and highlighted that, the journey of Jesus ended on the cross, where he suffered and died so that people can live. Referring to which, he said that, “However, the journey ended on the cross, where Jesus suffered and died so that we may live.”
While further mentioning about the Palm Sunday, he asked people to always recall the name of Jesus and to always follow the path of god and his teachings. Noting to which PM Phillip J Pierre added that, “Palm Sunday is a reminder that our journey as Christians will have trials and tribulations, just as Jesus did. However, we will overcome only through Him.”
At the same time, he further asked everyone to always follow the path of god and his teachings without any question, adding that, “Let us use this Palm Sunday as a time to renew our commitment to walk with the Jesus, through the highs as well as lows of life, and to trust in His unfailing love and grace. Have a blessed Holy Week.”
