Saint Lucia: The Prime Minister – Philip J Pierre, congratulated the citizens of the country on the National Day of Saint Lucia.
While extending his greetings, the PM shared a generous post and wrote that “As we usher in this new period of Light and Renewal, I pray for a spirit of peace and love over our island.”
PM Pierre added to his statement, “As we reflect on our lives during this National Day, let us give thanks and commit to being better citizens who proudly build our nation. Happy National Day to all Saint Lucians.”
As soon as the Prime Minister shared the post the active followers filled the comment section with praises and wishes.

Saint Lucia National Day
The National Day of Saint Lucia is celebrated on every year on December 13. The day is celebrated as a festival to appreciate the patron Saint Lucia and praise the great history she holds. Saint Lucia is the patron saint of small island Malta.
As per the history records, it is believed that Saint Lucia was converted to Christianity after an angel appeared to her. After the conversion, she devoted her life to Christianity and donated the entire wealth of her family to the poor and needy people.
