Prime Minister of Pakistan, Shehbaz Sharif, will pay a two-day official visit to Turkiye, which will be from November 25 to November 26, 2022. The office of the spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan has made an official announcement about the visit.
The office of the spokesperson of the Foreign Ministry of Pakistan has made an official announcement that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, along with the President of Turkiye, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, will together inaugurate the third of four MILGEM Corvette Ships for the Pakistan Navy, PNS Khaibar, at the Istanbul Shipyard.
The two leaders will also hold wide-ranging talks on boosting bilateral ties between Pakistan and Turkiye, the regional situation and more focus will be on other issues of common interest.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will further interact with leaders and officials of the Turkish business community. The President of the ECO Trade & Development Bank (ETDB) will also call on the Prime Minister in his stay in the capital city of Istanbul.

The MILGEM project, which is based on joint collaborations between the two nations, represents an important milestone in the Pakistan-Turkiye strategic partnership that continues to progress on an upward scale.
The official launch ceremony for the 1st Corvette for the Pakistan Navy, PNS Babur, was already performed in Istanbul in August last year. Whereas, the groundbreaking for the 2nd Ship, PNS Badr, was held at Karachi in May 2022.
Frequent leadership-level exchanges are a defining feature of the eternal bonds of the Pakistan-Türkiye relations. The Prime Minister has visited Türkiye last in May-June 2022.
