The Prime Minister of the Commonwealth of Dominica, Dr Roosevelt Skerrit, on Sunday has extended wishes and greetings on the occasion of Father’s Day, which is celebrated every year across the world on June 18, 2023. In the post, PM Skerrit extends gratitude to the fathers across the nation for their love, protection and support that they are providing to their families.
While extending the greetings on the official social media handle, PM Roosevelt Skerrit in the wishes added that, “Happy Father’s Day to all the fathers of our nation.” While further extending the gratitude for their service towards their families and the nation, PM Roosevelt Skerrit noted that, “Thank you for the love, support and protection provided to your children and families.”
At the same time, he further expressed blessing to the father’s across the nation, adding that, “God’s blessings on your special day.”
Along with this, he also shared the quote, as stated by the Dr James Dobson in “Solid Answers”, adding that, “A good father will leave his imprint on his children for the rest of their lives.”
It is to be noted that the Minister of Housing, Land and Urban Development of the Commonwealth of Dominica, Melissa Poponne Skerrit, has also extended the wishes on the occasion of the Father’s Day, adding that, “Happy Father’s Day to all the Dads today! God bless Fathers today and everyday as you guide and protect your family. #fathersday #Dominica #family #love”
While extending the wishes, Minister Melissa Poponne Skerrit added that, “Father’s Day is an opportunity to express heartfelt gratitude for the parental love. Happy Father’s Day to all the fathers today!”
Alongside, Member of Parliament for the Salybia Constituency, Cozier Frederick, while extending the wishes on the occasion of Father’s Day, added that, “Happy Day to All Fathers of the Salybia Constituency. Your dedication as fathers is inspiring. You have been tasked to nurture our warriors and I salute your efforts. Take a bow Kalinago braves. Don’t forget to join me for a day of fun.”
