The Prime Minister of the Commonwealth of Dominica, Dr Roosevelt Skerrit, has led a Cabinet Delegation on the tour of the Marigot to get first hand view of the certain ongoing challenges that were affecting the people of the community that has been residing there because of the storm drains and feeder roads.
It is to be noted that, the information about the following has been shared by the Government of the Commonwealth of Dominica, via their official social media handle. Along with the post, the Government of Dominica has also shared the photos of the Prime Minister, Dr Roosevelt Skerrit’s visit to the Marigot, in which PM Skerrit could be seen meeting the people of the community.
Along with this, during the visit, Prime Minister of the Commonwealth of Dominica, Dr Roosevelt Skerrit was accompanied by Dr Irving McIntyre, Minister Roland Royer, along with Cassanni Laville, as well as Fidel Grant. Several other public officers including the Permanent Secretaries have also joined Prime Minister, Dr Roosevelt Skerrit, and the ministers during the visit to the Marigot Community.
At the same time, it is to be specifically mentioned that, during the visit of the Prime Minister Dr Roosevelt Skerrit led delegation, Parliamentary Representative for the Marigot, Anthony Charles welcomed the Prime Minister, Dr Roosevelt Skerrit and the delegation to the several parts of the community.

Notably, during the visit to the parts of the Marigot Community, Prime Minister Dr Roosevelt Skerrit has asked the respective authorities to take immediate actions in respect to the storm drains and feeder roads.
As per the details shared by the Government of Dominica, Prime Minister Dr Roosevelt Skerrit will be visiting Marigot in the month of September for the further dialogue with the Community.
