St. Kitts and Nevis: Prime Minister Dr. Terrance Drew met with the people of Dieppe Bay of Constituency-6 in the national walk-through series.
PM Drew was glad to meet them and highlighted in a note, that he posted on social media, “I was happy to meet the good people of Dieppe Bay, Constituency-6 in our national walk-through series.”
He presented his gratitude and said, “Thanks to MP Cde Rt. Dr. Denzil Douglas and his team for a successful activity.”
Dieppe Bay Town is a town in Saint John Capisterre Parish in the island of St. Kitts, situated in the country of St. Kitts and Nevis in the West Indies.
The town is famous for once being a busy port along the harbour at Dieppe. The harbour is known for the large coral reef formations at the offshore which gives it strong protection against the heavy waves that were tended to prevent the Atlantic coast development elsewhere.
Currently, the town resides population of a roughly estimation of 592 people and is ranked as 20th in the population of all the settlements in St. Kitts and Nevis.
Most of the inhabitants are ethnically French and are the descendants of fishermen who migrated from St. Barts, as they were attracted to the area by the reef.
At Dieppe Bay prime minister had conversation with the residents regarding the facilities they are receiving as citizens of the town. Considering which he has also shared the snippets of his tour to Dieppe Bay.
With his team he toured the whole town and cherished the night spent with the vibrant and lively people of Dieppe Bay.
