Basseterre, St Kitts and Nevis: The St Kitts Tourism Authority, along with the government officials of St Kitts and Nevis, has organized a special welcome ceremony commemorating to the inaugural flight of the InterCaribbean Airways to the island nation of St Kitts.
Government officials accompanied by the St Kitts Tourism Authority were lined up at Robert L Bradshaw International Airport to extend a welcome to the captain and passengers of the inaugural flight to the Federation.
It is to be noted that, PM Drew has also shared the photos of the first flight of InterCaribbean into the nation. Moreover, he has also shared the post of Kittian Hertbeat on his official social media handle, sharing the information about the ceremony held to welcome the first flight, adding that, “Today, the St. Kitts Tourism Authority hosted a special welcome ceremony to celebrate the inaugural flight of InterCaribbean Airways to St. Kitts.”
The social media post has further noted that, “The ceremony honours the newly established partnership between InterCaribbean and St. Kitts, which will tremendously assist with making the destination more accessible within the region than ever before.”
At the same time, the post mentioned that, “This new offering is set to increase the number of regional travellers to the Federation, which will positively impact the destination’s Summer of Fun activities, namely, the St. Kitts Music Festival, Nevis Mango Festival, Restaurant Week, Culturama, CPL T20, and the newly introduced Kittitian RumMaster Program.”
Moreover, the officials of the St Kitts Tourism Authority have claimed it as a very happy day in the St Kitts and Nevis. Noting to this, St Kitts Tourism Authority CEO, Ellison Thompson said that, “Today we have made it much easier for our nationals to get around the Caribbean. The hassle of going to Miami as well as flying back over to St Kitts to get where you want to go.”
