Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has claimed that terrorism is resurfacing in Pakistan as a result of Imran Khan’s “flawed” policies.
“I strongly condemn the bombing in Lahore and wish the injured a speedy recovery.” Terrorism has resurfaced in Pakistan as a result of (prime minister) Imran Khan’s misguided policies,” the PML-N leader said in a tweet from London, where he has lived since November 2019.
“Three killed and many were injured in a bomb attack in Lhr today, and guess what @ImranKhanPTI is talking about in his propaganda cell meeting?” PML-N vice president Maryam Nawaz wrote in a tweet, condemning the blast and mourning the loss of life. Sharifs! So, what’s next? Putting the blame for the disaster on the victims.”

“It is, in fact, a second act in Lahore following the target assassinations in Islamabad. This is the current wave of terrorism in Pakistan, particularly in Kabul. In our country, we need to find terrorist sleeping cells. It’s not going to stop, so we’ll have to take some practical precautions.
We condemn this horrific act and convey our sorrow for the lives lost in the incident, as well as our condolences to the victims’ families,” Malik added.
