Electors in the Roseau Area on Wednesday, February 8, 2023, came ahead to caste their ballots to elect two persons each for Wards, which is as follows II, III, and IV to serve on the Roseau City Council.
It is to be noted that the final counting of the ballots was conducted on Thursday, February 9, 2023, at the designated locations. Result of which, the following is the official results of the elections in several wards:
Ward II
– Riah Brumant- 177 votes
– Rhoda St John- 187 votes
– Ericson Romain-212 votes
Ericson Romain & Rhoda St John were elected in Ward II.
Ward III
– Quincy Dwayne Angol-79 votes
– Michael Anthony Moreau-84 votes and
– Sherika Winston-84 votes
Michael Anthony Moreau & Sherika Winston were elected in Ward III.
Ward IV
– Marilla Vernicia Adams-194 votes
– Sherman Hartford Boston-226 votes
– Wayne Donald Benjamin-178 votes and
– Christina J Sobers-120 votes
Marilla Vernicia Adams and Sherman Hartford Boston were elected in Ward IV
Meanwhile, the voter turnout in the various wards is-

355 persons or 7.61%
Ward III
140 persons or 5.50%
Ward IV
455 persons or 8.96%
