St. Kitts and Nevis: Prime Minister Dr. Terrance Drew as a Minister of Health has announced Curtis Martin, as the new Acting Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Health. The members of the Ministry of Health have declared this after a careful consideration at an extraordinary meeting of the ministry’s leadership team.
PM Drew in his statement ensures that Martin as an acting permanent secretary will ensure the continuous and effective operation of the initiatives and responsibilities by the Ministry of Health of St. Kitts and Nevis.
Minister of Health – Dr. Terrance Drew said in the meeting that he is confident about the leadership of Martin and it will definitely bring strong guidance and stability to the Health Ministry during this transition period.
Drew assured everyone that they are looking forward to the contributions by Martin and are excited about the future health services under his stewardship.
Recently, Curtis Martin has been serving as an advisor in the office of prime minister and brought of wealth of experience and a proven track record of excellence in administrative leadership.
Martin has also served in both public and private sectors earlier, that have prepared him well for the pivotal position.
Expertise gained by Curtis Martin in policy development, human resource management and strategic planning will be vital for the Ministry of Health as it continues to navigate the challenges of the public health and strives to improve the healthcare outcomes for all the citizens.
The Ministry will further oversee the implementation of critical health programs and the ongoing response of the ministry of health towards the public health issues.
They assured that the Martin’s leadership will be crucial in continuing the work and in promoting the wellness and ensuring the accessibility of high-quality healthcare services.
